Not sure how to start your walking journey? We’ve got you covered!

Build small walks into your daily routine—like walking to the mailbox, pacing during phone calls, grocery shopping, or taking an evening stroll through your neighborhood. Over time, these small steps can add up to big gains!

You don’t need to walk for miles to make a difference—short bouts of walking throughout the day can be just as beneficial. Even 5 to 10 minutes at a time helps improve circulation, loosen stiff joints, and activate key muscle groups that support balance and mobility.

If you don’t have a pedometer, no problem!

Try out the Activity to Step Calculator or the Minutes in Motion conversation chart to easily keep track of your steps.

Submit your steps so we can include your step success! Stay tuned on our Facebook page to see the final count!

Walking is free, simple, and powerful. Many falls can be prevented through a combination of simple, consistent activities—most notably walking, along with balance and strength training.
